MUSIC VIDEO: In Melbourne, crocheted octopi fly across the city, like in Wax Tailor‘s single ‘Time To Go’ with Aloe BlaccAustralian studio Oh Yeah Wow, who produced the video, describe themselves as a “rag tag pack of unlicensed pyrotechnicians, unappreciated comedians and unknown celebrities” pursuing magic and innovation. Quite a claim, but I wouldn’t argue they fall short.

Check out more of Oh Yeah Wow’s work, including vids for Gotye and Stereolove, at liquidtelevision.com.

BLOG: Is this what it is like to grow up? First year Royal College of Art student Tim Divall seems to think so. He’s done a fantastic job of capturing the anxiety we all feel about adulthood.

BLOG: It makes us so happy to know that there are still animators out there drawing things by hand. And whether hand-drawn means unrefined intricacy or just simple line drawings like Alex Goddard’s ’The Future,’ the result is always one-of-a-kind. Hats off to Goddard for this hilarious little poem, a glimpse into the future.

MUSIC VIDEO: Directorial team LAMAR+NIK have joined with Okie Samantha Crain to make one of those videos that really push what animation can be. See more of our favorite music videos at liquidtelevision.com, keyword “music video.”

BLOG: YES! Super excited about this new collaboration between CRCR and McBess for French music site Deezer (soon to be available in the U.S.). We’ve probably devoted way too much time on the Liquid TV blog to French collective CRCR, but we can’t really help it. You can look forward to more McBess in future episodes of the new Liquid Television, as well.

A remixed holiday stocking stuff from Liquid TV and Chadwick Whitehead!

MUSIC VIDEO: The newest video from The Killers (Miss Atomic Bomb) is a creative mix of live action and traditional animation. The storyline is epic – understandably, as this is the companion to 2004′s Mr. Brightside. Animated by our friends at Titmouse, Inc and directed by Jeremy Polgar.

MUSIC VIDEO: What did you do this weekend? Me? Oh, I was just jammin’ on Mathieu Bétard’s new video for Hide by Kris Menace (ft. Miss Kittin). Yeah.

The alternative to reality.
